Hi, welcome to Connected Counseling NWA

Our therapists are highly qualified and skilled providers who are eager to partner alongside you in your journey to find the change and healing you've been searching for.

Meet Marisa:

Owner + Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

I strive to collaborate with my clients to tailor the therapeutic space to meet the unique needs of each person. I work to support every individual in my office in recognizing the specific challenges they face in their lives, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and collaborate to find purpose so that they can experience peace and wholeness.

Using a trauma-informed approach, I incorporate psychodynamic, systemic, attachment, and somatic modalities into my practice. I am trained in EMDR and am able to incorporate a Christian worldview when requested.

I work with individuals starting at 18 years old. I especially enjoy working through transitions with young adult women (ages 20-35), adult children of emotionally immature parents, and family of origin issues.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Central Arkansas and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University.

Meet Jordan:

Licensed Clinical Social
Worker (LCSW)

I believe taking the step towards seeking help takes a lot of courage and strength. It can be impactful to have someone who is there to accept us fully, without fear of judgment or bias, collaborating with us to build safety within ourselves and with others. Therapy with me encompasses getting to the root of your experiences, exploring who you are and where you want to be, and finding a healthier version of yourself.

I strive to support individuals in their journey of healing by drawing on their strengths, meeting them where they are at, and going at their pace. I work from a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. I have additional training in play therapy, TF-CBT, EMDR, and child-parent psychotherapy (CPP).

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Services and Intercultural Studies from John Brown University, as well as a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Arkansas
