About Us
At Connected Counseling NWA, we aim to serve the Northwest Arkansas community with excellence. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment where individuals can address their mental health concerns, answer the questions that led them to counseling, and experience the change and healing they've been searching for. We work to tailor counseling sessions to meet the unique needs of each individual. We believe that each person is created for healthy relationship and prioritize working to build such with those in our office.

Marisa Gilbreth, LPC
Marisa's counseling style is authentic and congruent to who she is outside the counseling office, full of compassion and empathy. She works to support those in her office to recognize dysfunction, implement change, and find purpose so that they can experience peace and wholeness.

Marisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University. She integrates several counseling approaches in her work, including person-centered, attachment, EMDR, psychodynamic, systemic, and trauma-informed theories. Marisa is able to work from a Christian worldview when requested.
Fees and Insurance
Insurance and Payment Information
We offer a free consultation to ensure we are a good fit. Not all therapists will work for all clients, and that is completely fine. We want what is best for you, and think it is best to get to know you just a bit before you decide on a counselor.

We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Ambetter, Cigna, Qualchoice, United Healthcare and Optum.
​
We offer self pay services at $120/session.
